Why Early Bedtime Matters?
Bonjour,
Prioritize an Early Bedtime as our ancestors did. Before 10 p.m. is ideal to be snuggled in your bed. The earth's circadian rhythms determine that between the hours of 10 p.m. and 12 a.m. are when your body focuses on detoxification and rejuvenation. I personaly use my BEMER (Bio–Electro-Magnetic-Energy-Regulation Device) to optimize my circulatory flow.
You may feel that sleep in this window is equal to 2x, 3x, 4x or even 5x the rest. If you miss this window, you do not get it back later. Even worse, if you ignore your body’s natural impulse to rest, your cortisol kicks in to give you a second wind and keep you up even longer. More likely than not, you will get overstimulated on some screen or other and make yourself feel even worse, leading to the classic "tired and wired."
Remember that sleep is critical to your immunity. Start to unplug from screens at least an hour before bed, turn down the lights, have a hot tea or milk (check for allergies first). Establish a bedtime routine that works for you, and give yourself the gift of restorative sleep.
Please share your bedtime routine and be consistent with your choices if you are creating new habits.
To your restful sleep and immunity boost!
